Game Destiny Warfare

review game Destiny Warfare

So now that it’s here, does it live up to the hype? Let’s find out. Play now : game Destiny Warfare

Can’t escape Destiny

Destiny Warfare is the latest ‘BIG’ FPS on Google Play, and is looking to be one of the top mobile FPS games in the world.

The game was initially made available for pre-registration, and I was one of the people who registered. To be honest, I was expecting some freebies to come with that, but no such luck.

Anyway, moving on. Let’s talk about the game.

It is no secret that Destiny Warfare is heavily inspired the two Bungie giants, Halo and Destiny.

Developers’ Azur Interactive, previously known for games like the GTR racing series and Modern Strike, has jumped on the FPS bandwagon with Destiny Warfare with the objective of bringing a console-like FPS experience on mobile.

I Can Be Your Halo

Anyone familiar with the two FPS mega hits would immediately notice similarities when it comes to weapons, vehicular combat and mostly, map design.

The developers have clearly tweaked the core gameplay to suit mobile gaming. Auto-fire option is something mobile developers are focusing on these days and actually makes sense.

It really helps you out in some tight spots. Mobility is another aspect Azur Interactive have focused on with Jet Packs and Low Gravity Skirmishes.

No BS, DS

The game gives you four player classes to choose from. Recruit, Saboteur, Tank, and Assault. Anyone who has ever played any kind of FPS would know the different specialties of these classes.

Obviously, each class has its advantages and disadvantages. Make your choice strategically.

You can always improve skills and abilities through upgrades. This is where IAP’s come into play.

Fair warning, Destiny Warfare is IAP heavy.
Not everything that shines is Gold

There are two ways to purchase items in the game. Gold and Credit. Gold is obviously collected in within the game.

However, items for sale are very costly, and you will need to spend a fair amount of time in the game to purchase items with substantial value.

This forces you to purchase using credit. Is it worth it? I am on the fence on this one. Let us what you think in the comments below.

There are purchases ranging from $0.99 to $94.99!
PVE, PVP

Important to know; Destiny Warfare does not have a PVE single-player campaign, rather, the developers have focused on providing the best PVP experience possible.
There are a couple of modes available currently; deathmatch and team deathmatch (the modes are pretty self-explanatory).

There is a hardcore mode that inflicts double damage, and Destiny Warfare gives you the option to create your own rules, which we thought was pretty neat.

The game also gives you the option to create or join a clan.
Gun Control, is Using Both Hands

One of the highlights of the game would be its equipment. Destiny Warfare features some kick-a** Guns, Gear, Drones and Melee Weapons.

These weapons come with their own strengths and weaknesses. Long range, short range, damage etc…

The gear available to you will depend on your class level. Some will give you high defense capabilities but low mobility, and vice versa.

The gear is also a key feature of the game, as you get a ton of options, and they look really good too.

The drones are a neat feature as they move alongside you providing both defense and attacking options. They can only be unlocked with in-game money. There are different types of drones available, and best ones are the expensive ones. OBVIOUSLY!

The Malee system is pretty similar to what you would find in Halo, and it’s actually pretty satisfying sneaking up on somebody and beating the crap out of that poor soul. So good!

Final Thoughts

Destiny Warfare is not the best FPS available on the mobile platform, but it is a very polished title nonetheless. The game plays out as well as you would expect.
It has all the things you would want from an FPS. As mentioned earlier, Azur interactive wanted to bring the Halo/Destiny experience to the mobile platform.

And have they achieved it? Um, “somewhat” I would say. In saying that, the game is definitely something you should check out if you are an FPS fan.
